I tried Bougainvillea tea.

I decided to try Bougainvillea tea with my pruned bracts.   

I pruned my Bougainvilleas. 

I didn't used the dried leaves for the tea, only the newer bright pink bracts.

I filled up my mesh strainer with the bracts. 

I boiled some water and let it sit.

The concoction was beginning to look appealing.

The color was vivd and I was excited to try it. 

The bracts steeped for about 10 minutes. 

I tried it plain and I'm sorry to say, ugh, not my cup of tea. Don't think I'll be making Bougainvillea tea again.
