Arctic Blast,  Bougainvilleas Freeze.

We got an arctic blast.

Bougainvilleas Got Damaged

Evening Temperatures were in the 20's.

Bougainvillea Greenhouse just doesn't cut it

I covered them with blanket. I'll think about adding some sort of heat source next winter.  

I Still have Hope

I hope they come back in the spring. Last year most of them came back after freezing. 

Update November 2024: Bougainvillea Recovers 10 Months Later!

This Bougainvillea had freeze damage from the January 2024 arctic blast. I discovered it growing in the greenhouse 10 months later.
